The foundation of Kiler Holding has been laid in 1983 by Hikmet Kiler and his sons Nahit, Vahit and Umit Kiler. The hypermarkets opened in Bakırköy and Avcılar in food retail business, which is the main business of the family, have been followed by tens of hypermarkets each year. Also starting the production of Kiler and Kilerim branded products offered to the customer in retail business, Kiler Group has carried out investments in different areas of food industry such as packaged food production, meat and meat products production, sugar, flour and floury products production.
Besides retail business and food investments, the investments carried out in construction industry have brought a separate acceleration to the development dynamic of the group. The activities started with the construction works needed by the group companies have continues with the constructions of many dwelling and workplace and shopping centers. Entering into transportation business by carrying out the transportation service for Kiler employees and customers, Kiler Holding has recently accelerated their activities in this area by making investment to Tourism, Energy, Health and Service industries. Targeting to increase its turnover figure for 2008 to 1.130.000.000 TRY, Kiler Holding operates in more than 10 different industries with 4 main groups today with its 22 companies.
The aim of Kiler Holding in short term is to continue its stable growth by making investment to retail, energy, construction and tourism industries and to take place within the strongest 5 companies of Turkey.
